Bahrain is a country in the Middle East, it is situated on the western side of the Persian Gulf. The country is a fantastic tourist destination. You will get first-class hotel services with plenty of local and international cuisine as you embark on your tour. There are a couple of places you have to visit for your tour of Bahrain.

The Bahrain National Museum

The Bahrain National Museum is a chance for tourists to see Bahraini history and understand its heritage. The museum will take you back 4000 years back into the country’s history. The museum tour will expose you to Bahrain’s culture, there is the customs and tradition hall, and there is the ancient documents and manuscripts hall and an Islamic period hall which explores Islamic traditions. The museum is a fortress of Bahrain’s culture and traditions.

The Lost Paradise of Dilmun water park

It is ideal for a family outing and is a fantastic tourist attraction to explore. The sun can be very hot and there is no other place you would rather be. The water park has a variety of activities for the whole family. The park also has entertaining live bands and DJ performances. The water park usually has events such as ladies night out and beach night out.

Qal’at al-Bahrain

This is an archeological site on the Arabian Peninsula. It is a UNESCO world heritage site. It is held in high regard by the people of Bahrain since it is the birthplace of ancient civilisation. Several items have been unearthed relating to the occupation of past civilisations. Visiting this place is of much significance as you will have stepped into the cradle of Bahrain’s civilisation.

The Al Areen wildlife park

The park has over 50 species of animals and over 80 species of vegetation. Animals that you will find in the park include the Arabian oryx, the Persian gazelle and saluki dogs. The park has rare species of animals such as the Nubian Ibex, Barbary sheep, Dama gazelle and giraffes. A visit to the park and you will have seen some of the rarest and endangered species of animals.

The Al Fateh Grand mosque

This is the largest mosque in Bahrain. It is a significant religious site in the country. In your tour, you will learn more about Islam with informative guides which will help you understand Islam and dispel assumptions and misconceptions about the religion. The mosque was constructed using marble, glass and teak wood. Inside, it has the finest elements of interior design.

For you to experience the Bahraini wonderful sites and culture, you will be required to have a Bahrain Visa. This is one of the most important requirements you should have. You have the options of applying for a Visa either manually or electronically, that is e-visa. To manually get a Bahrain Visa, you should fill the application form provided and attach a recent photo, you then write a letter to the country’s Head of Mission on the reasons for getting your visa. The visa application will be sent to the Ministry of foreign affairs for approval.
